Terms of Service

Effective date: Feb 3, 2026

By using Console Flip, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Project scope

Console Flip converts and interprets user-created Allen & Heath show files, currently dLive and SQ. It operates solely on files you provide and does not interact with live consoles, firmware, or control software.

Interoperability intent

The service exists for data portability and interoperability, allowing you to move your own show data across workflows. It is not intended to replace, replicate, or compete with any manufacturer ecosystem.

Technical boundaries

  • Development was based exclusively on analysis of user-exported show files.
  • No vendor software, firmware, binaries, or internal tools were inspected, decompiled, debugged, or reverse-engineered.
  • The service does not bypass, defeat, or circumvent encryption, licensing, DRM, or protection measures.
  • The service processes only the data already accessible to you in exported show files.

Branding and affiliation

Allen & Heath, dLive, and SQ are referenced solely to describe compatibility. Console Flip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Allen & Heath Ltd. No vendor logos or trademarks are used beyond text-only compatibility references.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and convert any show files you provide.
  • You must not use the service to violate third-party rights or applicable laws.
  • You are responsible for reviewing converted files before use on any console.

Conversion output

Console Flip provides conversions on an “as-is” basis. Show files are complex and manufacturer-specific. We make no guarantees that converted files will perform as expected on any desk.

You acknowledge that using converted files is entirely at your own risk. Console Flip is not responsible for any damage to hardware, corrupted show files, lost programming, or any other direct or indirect losses caused by use of conversion outputs.

Payments

Paid features may be offered in the future. If you purchase a paid feature, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize charges through the payment provider. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and their terms will apply to payment details.

Prices will be displayed at checkout or on the relevant purchase page. If there is an issue with a converted file, contact us and we will review the request and issue a refund when appropriate.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your show files. We retain all rights in Console Flip, including the service, code, and branding, except as explicitly stated in these terms.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Console Flip harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, including claims related to rights in the files you upload.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Console Flip is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. If liability is found, Console Flip’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you have not paid for the service).

Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we believe your use creates risk to the service or others.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts located in England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
