Privacy Policy

Effective date: Feb 3, 2026

Console Flip helps you convert your own console show files. We only collect what is necessary to run a conversion, communicate with you, and keep the service reliable.

What we collect

  • Uploaded show files and their derived conversion data (for example: channel names, fader levels, mutes, HPF, EQ, and bus data).
  • Contact form submissions (name, email, and message content).
  • Updates sign-up submissions (email address).
  • Basic service diagnostics such as conversion success/failure and error logs.

How we use your data

  • Process and generate your converted show file.
  • Display a preview of the data extracted from your upload.
  • Respond to support requests and improve format support.
  • Process payments when paid features are enabled.

Retention

Uploaded files are kept for up to 48 hours or until payment completes (whichever happens first) and then removed. Contact form submissions and updates sign-ups may be retained as long as needed to respond and operate the service.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share data when required to operate the service (for example, infrastructure providers) or comply with legal obligations.

Analytics

We use Simple Analytics to understand usage trends. It is designed to avoid collecting personal data.

Payments

Paid features may be offered in the future. Payment processing will be handled by Stripe, and their privacy practices will apply to payment details.

Interoperability scope

Console Flip operates only on files you provide. It does not connect to live consoles, firmware, or control software, and it does not bypass licensing or protection mechanisms.
